Welcome to Christmas at the Second Chance Supper Club

My new festive story is now out! 'Christmas at the Second Chance Supper Club' is here!

I've loved re-visiting Cath, Will, and the supper club gang, in the fictional Northumberland village of Tilldale.

Determined to bring some happiness to herself and the community, Cath decides to hold a village Christmas lunch along with a little help from her friends. But with Will still caught in the depths of his grief, will he and Cath be able to find their happy ever after this Christmas season?

This book is close to my heart with much of its inspiration coming from my own beautiful rural Northumberland village of Chatton and the surrounding countryside. I've also weaved some of my dad’s post war National Service experiences and his love letters to my mum, into the storyline of elderly Reggie; the previous owner of Cath's second chance home, Cheviot Cottage.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful support for this new release to my readers, the book bloggers and reviewers, bookshop owners, librarians, my publisher HQ and my agent Hannah, and to everyone involved in bringing this book to the world.

Happy reading!

Best wishes,

Come on in to The Second Chance Supper Club!

The wait is over! It's taken a little while for this next book to come out, so thanks for your patience.

Here it is, Book Twelve, no less. It’s publication day for ‘The Second Chance Supper Club’! Woo-hoo!

When life and love let you down, how do you begin to heal again? One recipe, some new friends, and a fresh start in a countryside cottage is a great place to begin …

The second Chance Supper Club is a heartwarming story of friendship, community, and second chances, with al fresco suppers in Cath's summerhouse, and a little romance on the menu too.

Set in the fictional village of Tilldale, it is very much inspired by the small rural communities and beautiful countryside of North Northumberland where I have lived for over twenty years. So, this story is very close to my heart.

It's full of gorgeous foodie inspiration, with casual summer parties and supper soirees. There are some great recipes for you to try in the back, too.

You can find the book (and e-versions/audible) online and in your local bookshop, and it will also be available in Tesco's and Sainsbury's. I'll be doing a book signing on Saturday 19th July at The Accidental Bookshop in Alnwick, so if you're local to Northumberland or up on your holidays, I'd love to see you there.

Happy reading!
And thank you so much for your wonderful support.
